I bought Harry Potter 7 while I was in the airport the other day. The book is deliciously long, so I know I shouldn't be disappointed by not enough details. After seeing the catastrophe that was Order of the Phoenix, I was extremely wary about Deathly Hallows becoming a movie. I KNOW I will see it, I tend to torture myself that way but I also know that it's going to be a god awful movie unless they bump is up an hour and a half. However, Order was over 800 pages, longer than Deathly Hallows and they movie barely topped 2 hours. I doubt the last book will fare much better. (I already doubt Half-Blood Prince will be any decent....).

But the book is marvelous and I actually managed to read about 100 pages of it on the plane! This is a miraculous as I dont normally read on the plane due to my various bouts of motion sickness. This is how great Harry Potter is! I'm distraught that this is the last book... I dont think J.K. Rowling will be writing anything else as I doubt anything will be able to keep up with the popularity of Harry and his adventures. Plus she's a billionaire... so... we'll see if she comes up with anything else.

I have to deregister from the hell that is new paltz (FUCH YEAH!), and i have to send in my final grades from the spring semester to Hollins!! Then i am going to call Stacey Hill, and give her the heads up since the chick at new paltz in academic advising said that she'll try to get everything done as soon as possible (in terms of getting me de-registered). Records and Registration is really weird about sending my transcripts out... i've had to pay like 15 dollars cause a school never got my stuff! So i left a little note, asking that they please send it out ASAP cause this is UBER IMPORTANT!

THEN, i am going to call the glorious Stacey Hill (who is a gem!) and REGISTER AT HOLLINS! Then, i'm going to get an assload of stuff AND I'LL OFFICIALLY BE A HOLLINS GIRL!!!!

HELL FUCKING YEAH!

Granted, I am still very jobless, but I am going to head out to the mall today and do a little job hunting!

its really nice out. windy, but nice. from what i understand this coming week is supposed to be in the 50s. so hopefully, there wont be any wind and THEN it'll be perfect.

oh WELL. two classes and work monday. i'm so happy. bio i have an exam, and i have to check the syllabus for comparative politics.

i borrowed a friend's broom and swept my room. it FEELS cleaner...i think because i KNOW i swept. i made my bed, and that really helps in the whole i feel clean feeling. my desk is still a mess, since i'm a total pack rat and dont throw anything anyway until i'm positive i dont need it anymore. and even then...

i started my new journal today. thats right, my incredibly awesome, pink leather one is completely full. I like this new one... i'm breaking it in.

megan mccafferty posted an entry about her new life at CU (when she was in college). FINALLY! i am far more interested in her life as a college student, because that's where i am now. LKH reposted again too.

english is getting better. prof was THIS close to kicking some kid out of the class. fucking talkers. and i HATE how people repeat the same ideas that everyone else has said. they just want to get their worthless two cents in.

i'm slacking in ways that have no words. i need to copy the next reprise chapter, actually DO the one i have, so i can study tonight and tomorrow night as well. i need to fucking do the college applications, and they're due days from now and i've barely started on them. i'm never going to get out of here unless i get this shit DONE.

i need to finish my short story, which shouldnt be too difficult if i seriously sit down and do it. i have an essay to do for something seperate which is also due days from now.

i have to try to find my french books onlines. this copying shit is killing me. no joke.

spend less time sleeping, and more time getting my work done.
